Messages to Mansell Family c/o 69 Bond St. Livestream Please find a link to the livestream below Memories of my sister : Marjorie Merle, the second child of 4, went to school in Sherwood House in Namkum, India. When WW2 was declared the school was taken over by the British army and the children were evacuated. Later as Narjorie grew older she joined the WAC (Woman’s Army Corps), packing parachutes. It was a prosperous time because jobs were plentiful and India saw very little warfare. Marjorie was a beautiful girl, very generous, helping others when she could least afford to do so. She was always on hand to care for family members whatever the need and regardless of circumstances. She emigrated to New Zealand where she was extremely happy, starting a new chapter with her children and grandchildren. In later years she was cared for by the nurses in Cargill Rest home to whom we owe a debt of gratitude. Cecily Williams Farewell Marjorie, I still remember the day we met so clearly it was Xmas day 2002 , from that day we created so many great memories, we were trouble when we were together and running a muck around town.
