On Tuesday, 4 February, following a short illness, Jan passed away at Hospice Southland, surrounded by her family. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Des; loving mother and mother-in-law of Mat and Anna, Tim and Miwa; doting Nana of Holly, Toby, and Aya; loved sister and friend of Sheryll and Lyndsay*, John* and Rowena Scott, Shari and Brett McLean; loving sister and sister-in-law of all the Spriggs and Popham families.
A service to celebrate Jan’s life will be held on Saturday, 8 February, at Ascot Park Hotel, commencing at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated. Messages to 21 Duncan Street.

Des and families, My deepest sympathy to you all at this time. As the days follow on after Jan’s passing remember that Jan will remain in our memories as the very nice lady she was. She has left behind her talents in pottery and glass with so many that will invoke conversation of her well into the future.
