Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle at Hospice Southland on 1st October, aged 78 years.
Loved and cherished husband of Patricia (Trish) for 55 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Dallas and Jeremy, Bernard and Rhoda. Treasured Grandad and Great Grandad. Adored brother and brother-in-law and uncle. A special thank you to all the Drs and Hospice staff. A service to celebrate Bill’s life is to be held at Southland Crematorium, Rockdale Road Invercargill on Thursday 7th October 2021 at 2 pm, and thereafter at Ascot Park Hotel. Grandad, you will be forever loved and missed, im sorry you had to leave so soon. Thank you for all the memories we made together, thank you for all the advice you have given, but most of all thank you for loving me and being my grandad. I know you will be happy up there doing all the things you love so much and looking down on us and watching, protecting and guiding in some way, i hope we all make you proud! I hope you have reunited with your one and only Chloe and you two can live your best lives up there together again. I love you with all my heart grandad, this isnt good bye, it's just til we meet again. Rest happy and easy. I Love you.

Uncle bill, you were there when I was growing up and you always had a smile on your face, we lost touch once you and aunty moved to Invercargill and got back in touch when Dad died. I will miss you and forever love you your niece Carla Lawrence
