Dearly loved wife of Colin, and loved mother and mother-in-law of Zena and Ash, Kay (deceased), Tania and Kane, and adopted son Graeme and Dawne. Treasured Taua and Taua-in-law of Carl, Damien (deceased), Danny (deceased), Peri, Amy and Clint, Bayley and Brandon, Laken, and Dan. Adored great-nana too many. Dawne will lay in state at 249 Conyers Street Invercargill, from Tuesday, April 4th to Thursday, April 6th. A service to celebrate the life of our wonderful Ma will be held at Southland Crematorium on Thursday, April 6th at 10 am for family and close friends. A much-loved wife and partner in life of John for 57 years, cherished mother to Lisa & Jon, and mother-in-law to Megan, much-loved Grandmother to Cole, Maddy, Jax, Zara, and Georgia. Special aunty to Gordy & Stef. As per Mum's wishes, a private cremation has already taken place, but we welcome you to join us at a celebration of Mum's life to be held this Saturday, April 4th, at 11 am, Ascot Park Hotel-Invercargill in the Mararoa room. Where you are invited to share your memories and reconnect with old friends over morning tea. I also caught up with him after my job took me to Auckland and also bumped into him in Blenheim. We kept in contact and I was fortunate enough to make a trip to Invercargill to spend a few precious days with him in his new home before I moved overseas. Contact was lost but memories did not fade. My condolences to all his family. He was an extraordinary, fun guy who lived his younger life to the fullest. Treasured, respected, and much-loved father and father-in-law of Toni McIntyre and Brent De Bres; Glen and Paula; Leah and Brent McDowall; and James and Amy. Adored Grandad Noel of Logan and Hannah, Campbell and Pip; Fletcher and Keira McDowall; Lillie and Hayden, Phoebe and Finn, Summer and Hunter.
