Following the sudden loss of our cherished husband, father, father-in-law and grandad, Noel, we would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us during this incredibly difficult time.

A special thank you to Liza and Pete for your unwavering support when we needed it most. We are deeply grateful to St John Ambulance, Fire and Emergency, and the Police for the care, compassion and professionalism shown on the night Noel passed away.

Our thanks also go to Anneke and the team at Distinct Funerals for the respectful care of Noel and for supporting our family throughout. To Carmen Stewart, thank you for the beautiful and fitting tribute to Noel, and for your kindness and guidance during such a challenging week.

We are especially thankful to Jackson for taking Noel on his final ride — he would have been enormously proud of you. Thank you to the Agricentre South team for taking the time to clean Noel’s ute and transporter; that gesture meant more to us than words can express.

A heartfelt thank you to Miriam for the endless coffees that helped keep us all going — your kindness and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.

To all those who visited, sent flowers, cards, hampers, baking, messages, and continue to check in on us — we will be eternally grateful for your kindness, love, and ongoing support.

With sincere thanks,

Annette, Toni, Glen, Leah, James and their families

So very sorry to hear about Noel. We have good memories of you guys at Weka street. A gentle giant. (I was always scared of him lol). Was a great pleasure knowing him. Thoughts are with you all.
Take care ❤️

Lorraine and I are thinking of you at this tough time. When I started thinking about our connections I realised there had been quite a few and quite varied. From being neighbours in Weka St, 10 pin bowling, fundraising and trip to Brisbane, contracting jobs, flatting with Toni in Queenstown, celebration cakes including the one with the digger in it and very recently the drainage work at Greenacres. I always enjoyed Noel's attitude and humour. I will miss the old bugger too. Never forgotten.

My condolences to the extended McIntyre family. Noel truly was a good bugger, I fondly remember his smiling face when he came into CablePrice during my time there. He recently did some work for us and he was proudly telling me he had "retired" and his boys were running the show. He is already proud of you all, and I'm sure you will continue his legacy with pride. Gone to soon.

My thoughts are with you all at this sad time, Noel was such a good bugger, and it is so good to see how the next generation has stepped up to take McIntyre Drainage in to the next level., I know how proud Noel was of you all. Noel has been a huge part of my business growth for as long as I can remember. Always interested in our progress and supportive of our business partnership, firstly at Lyons Auto Electric and then when John and I started AJs, good for a yarn and advice. You always new when Noel was in the building and he was always keen to talk about the latest developments. He will be deeply missed.
