Your boots have walked their final track,

But love will always bring you back.

You shared your knowledge, time and care,

And left your kindness everywhere.

The road and bush where your heart soared,

The animals and gardens that you adored.

The engines now are still and slow,

But in our hearts you'll always go.

Ride peacefully now, Dad, ride free,

On southern roads for eternity,

Where every winding road leads home...

My heartfelt sympathies to you all. Uncle Billy was one of the good buggers and you can count on two hands how many of those come into our lives. I have a lot of good memories to hold dear from way back to George St days. I can just see Mums face when she sees him again. Rest In Love Uncle Billy. X
