Tragically on Thursday 10 th February, aged 37, as the result of an accident while doing what he loved.

Deeply loved soulmate of Amy (Sutherland)

Much loved and respected son of Pete and Kathryn; brother, brother-in-law, and uncle of Kirsten and Hamish Stevens, Finn and Sefton, and Annelise and Ben (McLean); son-in-law of Sub and Jayne Sutherland; brother-in-law of Craig Sutherland; grandson of Bill* and Nelly Impelmans and John* and Enda* Shand.

Loved nephew and cousin of Francis, Bernardette, Stephen, Rosemary, Terence, and their families.

Respected and loved by his many friends and work colleagues.

Will’s family are very grateful to the teams at Otago Rescue Helicopter Trust and Christchurch Hospital ICU for their care of Will and of us.

Donations would be appreciated to the Otago Rescue Helicopter Trust.

A private service to celebrate Will’s life will be held on Wednesday 16 th February at 1pm.
