Bill passed away peacefully at Peacehven on the 10th of December in his 98th year.
Dearly loved husband and best friend of Marjory* for 72 years.
Much loved father and father-in-law to Gordon and Debbie, Derek* and Larissa, Elaine and Ian, Steve and Jane. Treasured and loved grandad to Jody, Kristy, Katrina, Lauren, Peter, Michael, David, Laura, Richard, James, and partners, and adored Great Grandad to his eleven great-grandchildren. Bill was a much-loved son, brother to Winnie, brother-in-law, and Uncle.

Love and sympathy to all the family. I saw Bill with my dog Ruby on the Thursday before he passed and hadn’t realised until I saw the notice in Southland Times today. Like Marge, he was such a lovely person you will miss him a lot.
