Passed away peacefully on 28 June 2026, surrounded by loved ones following a brief illness.

Loved partner and best friend of Adele Livingston. Much loved father and father-in-law of Vanessa and Tony, Ella and Shaun, Jordon, Shane and Diane, and Sam. Cherished Grandad to all his grandchildren.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Anne and the late Barry, Fay and Alistair, Janice and Wayne, Yvonne and Roger, and Jill and Colin. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Russell's life will be held at the Invercargill Crematorium on Thursday, 2 July 2026, at 1.30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service.
