Dear Linda, Donna, Andrea and Families, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all.
Starting work as an 18yr old I can still remember the greeting Phil would give me - always positive, with a smile, and loud! A humble and loyal friend. Even when I changed jobs I would be alerted that someone was downstairs with sweet peas, and then we received turnips and more sweet peas when Charlie and I ran motels in Fairlie. Distance and change were no barrier to Phil keeping in touch with his friends and he managed to share his life with so many and yet be totally grounded by his love and pride in his family. Linda, Donna and Andrea, his love for you and your families was always so very evident and my thoughts and prayers are with you all as you navigate the times ahead without his presence, and in time may the many memories bring more smiles than tears. I will miss you, Phil!

I’ll never forget how welcome you made me feel the first time Donna introduced me to you and your family it was an absolute pleasure getting to know you. When I asked you for Donna’s hand in marriage I’ll never forget your words of wisdom “ you must be bloody desperate” haha you made it all possible the way you sprung into action and organised most of our wedding it was the perfect day and I gained the perfect father in-law. Thank you Phil Rest in peace x

To Linda & Family so very sad to hear that Phil has passed away and my deepest sympathy to you all.
I have many wonderful and cherished memories of all the years that I worked with "Worzel". I loved hearing about how much he enjoyed spending time up at Blackmount and the farming intersts.
Phil was a great work colleague and we shared lots of laughs together.
Rest in peace "Worzel".

For many years we enjoyed Phils company and friendship when we visited Blackmount. Phil loved talking about his family and I was envious of the wonderful garden he grew. Rest easy my Friend.
