Mark passed away peacefully in the loving care of family and the team at Hospice Southland on 27 August 2026, aged 67.

Mark is the loved son of the late Kevin and Betty Ridden (Alexandra).

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Stephen* Ainsley* and Jill, Christine and Vaughan*, Denise and Harold, Tony and Sharon, David and Chris, and John.

A loved uncle, colleague and friend.

As per Mark's wishes, a private cremation has been held. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at a future date when all the family can be in attendance.
