We were so sad to hear about Louise. We're sorry we can't make it down for her service. We've laughed and cried reminiscing about old times this past week and we're greatful to have those memories of a 'larger than life' lady. Sending heaps of love to you all. Xxx

Louise was very capable. I could rely on her to do any job. In fact there was nothing that she couldn’t do. Her favourite time of the year was calving time. Louis could calve a cow by herself. She excelled in animal health. I could trust her to treat down cows. A cow would be down on the ground sideways, gasping for air. Louise would come along, find the jugular vein and treat her. Within an hour, the cow would be up and running. Louise could do anything from rearing calves onto cows, training calves onto feeders, milking cows, trimming all of the cows tails, to measuring pasture and break sizes. She was keen to learn fencing techniques and picked it up quickly. Louise could drive the tractor, feed out silage, and cart gravel from the gravel pit, and within 2 minutes of training, Louise was in the tractor mowing with double mowers. When she had an idea, I had to listen because she had good ideas. She was a hoot to have around. She fitted in well. We will miss her greatly. She was an asset to the team and a great team player. Rest in peace Louise.

Memories of laughter embracing of each other as who we are , no pretending and always accepting. Days of coffee ciggis and hours talking on the phone in the early days to drifting apart because of life. Lou its shocking to have this news and im so deeply sorry the world couldn’t save you. We were touched by you . Your warmth your love your knowledge for gardening and how bloody hard you work . For your love of cows and the farm. You have left bright light behind. At peace now . Much love Nige and Em
