I enjoyed having Mr Ferguson as a teacher at Southland Girls High School from 1987 onwards. I am sure he was underwhelmed by my Latin skills, but as a student I appreciated the way he interacted with our class. He put up with our antics with a good sense of humour. It would have been nice to know the person behind the teacher, Keith sounded like an interesting man. Sending condolences to the family.

I was very sad to read that Keith has passed away. He was in my class almost right through Waverley Park School, with Pee Wee Payne as teacher at Rosedale Intermediate, and strangely we met up again in the same Latin class for 3 years at Otago University. He was always a bright boy. After many years I caught up with him through the NZ Association of Language Teachers, when I was teaching at OGHS and he was at SGHS, and we always had a great chat. My deepest sympathy to Keith’s family, Jan Robertson (formerly Janis Carter, 5th from left front row.)

Thank you for being you and for sharing your good nature, curiosity, and kindness with all of us. We sorely miss the loving father, grandfather, and father-in-law that you were.
You left the stage suddenly, but you will remain in our hearts and memories in an endless encore.

Dawn and I are missing very much my youngest brother Keith taken totally unexpectedly.
We had daily contact on-line over many years, comparing our Wordle results, sharing family news, general chitchat and life observations - always with informed intelligent conversation and a lot of good humour.
I will miss these communications so much.

I will truly miss our wonderful discussions and shared love of plants. It was a pleasure to see you come into the garden centre. I loved your passion and hearing of your next plan for your fabulous garden.

I wasn't expecting to see this. Many memories from teaching in Languages Department with Keith. I have some of his lily of the valley plants in the garden to forever remember him by.
