John passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital after a brief illness.
Dearly loved partner of Kanya.
Father and father-in-law of Mathew, Simon, and Geoff and Clara.
Loved stepfather of Mel and Sarah.
Much loved grandfather of Georgia and Hugo.
Loved brother of Merle*, Catherine, Charlie, Mervyn, Avis, and their families.
Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
As per John's wishes, a private service will be held.

Our very sincere sympathy on the loss and passing of John . John was a very good neighbour to us -always willing to help out when needed on the farm . Ron always enjoyed a beer with John . Sending our love to John’s families .
