Passed away 9th June 24, with his loving wife Kathy at his side, after a long battle with dementia.
Loving husband of Kathy, father and father-in-law of Paul and Janice, Kayleen (deceased), Mandy (deceased). Grandad to Bradley, Benjamin, Brianna, Liam, Shya, Sam and Rachel.
As per John's wishes, a private family service was held on Wednesday 12th June. Many thanks to all who helped make this day very special.
The family extends many thanks to well-wishers and those who cared for John in his final days.
Special thanks go out to all staff at Clare House who did an exceptional job with John's care throughout his illness. We would also like to thank Distinct Funerals for helping arrange this day exactly how John wished it.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Southland would be appreciated.
