Hard to find the right words at this time, all I can say is I’m so very blessed to have had John in my life as long as I did. I couldn’t ask for a better role model of a man to look up to. Thanks to you and Rosina for being the best babysitters/caretakers, and thanks for having me as your little sidekick and helper on your many jobs around Winton as a kid. Thanks for great yarns, great bbq’s and great whiskeys together as an adult and the firmest handshakes known to man haha even still in recent years as your health declined it was still like a vice grip! Thanks for being the best Step-Grandad a guy could ask for.
Sending all my love and Condolences to the entire family, with some extra hugs for my Stewart clan, from across the Tasman in Brisbane. Apologies for not being able to be with you all at this time 🙏🏼
Michael Stewart
Our deepest sympathy to you all

This great gentle giant will be missed by many but will never be forgotten. John was a huge help to me in my life especially when I was on the Winton community board as his knowledge of Winton was second to none and no problem ever beat him.
