After a courageous long battle, his fight is over, and Jeff is now at peace.
Jeff passed away on 18/09/2022 at Peacehaven Village surrounded with his loving family by his side.
Son of the late David and Beverly Hawkes of Invercargill. Best friend and devoted husband of Glenys for 44 years. Much loved Dad and father in Law of Nicole, Kylie, Daniel, and Paula. Adored and special Grandad of his grandchildren, and his only great-grandchild little Odin. Youngest brother and brother-in-law of Barrie and Rosemary, Kelvin and Marion.

A service to celebrate Jeff's life will be held at the Invercargill Methodist Community Centre, Lindisfarne Street, Invercargill on Thursday the 22nd Sept, commencing at 2 pm, followed by a private cremation.

To Glenys, Barrie, Kelvin and families,
Our parents met in the maternity ward when Jeffrey and I were born a day apart, and became lifelong friends. I have many childhood memories of times spent with the Hawkes boys and am sad to hear that Jeffrey has died. My sincere condolences to you all.
