Peacefully, at Rowena Jackson Home, Invercargill, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in her 97th year.
Dearly loved wife of the late Tom. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Warren (Gayndah, Qld); Carla and Ken Humphries (Bargara, Qld); and Lisa (Invercargill).
Much-loved grandmother of Jason and Clare. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Wynne* and Daphne* Mathieson; Graeme* and Thelma Mathieson; Ruth* and Jim* Smith; Heather and Russell* Cox; and Tony Harris (*denotes deceased).
Much-loved aunt of her nieces and nephews, and a friend to many.
A private cremation has been held. Messages to Carla or Lisa Dewey, c/- 96 Conway Cres, Glengarry, Invercargill 9810.

My sincere condolences Lisa and your siblings on the passing of your mum. We were your neighbours for many years and loved seeing your mum dresses immaculately going away to work. A classy lady.

Sorry to hear about Iris passing. I liked how she used dye her hair herself and Lisa would tell her off for making a mess. We'll had a few laughs and great chats In the days when the carers came. Was Great to get to know her and Lisa. A very determined Lady. And So Kind and friendly. She used to tell stories of the old days. A Life Well Lived.
