I would like to acknowledge that Ian was truly a man of God, and he always stood up for the true Gospel of Christ.
He was a strong supporter and member of the local church at Woodlands.
I remember having a discussion with Ian about our eternal security when I was about 18, and he said - in his quiet but sure way - that he didn't fear death, although he wouldn't like the thought of leaving Audrey. So he had that assurance from a young age.
I could say more, but I will finish with a verse from Scripture, which I thought very apt.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith."
All the glory be to God. Ian’s youngest brother
Willis Lang
