Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at Southland Hospital on 6th August.
Much-loved father and father-in-law of Shane and Kiri; Stacey and Shanan; Aaron and Carolina; Kelly and Andrew.
Loved Pop of Terina, Iraia, Chelsea, Lee, Myles, Phoenix, Hendrix, Ryan, Connor, Wyatt, and Jack; and loved great-grandad of Jakaia.
Loved son of the late Alison and Bryan; loved brother and brother-in-law of David and Nanette, Stephen and Roslyn, Janet and Rodney, Neil and the late Cheryl, Sally, and Gabe and the late Kerryn. Loved uncle and friend to all.
The family would like to thank the Rehabilitation Ward at Kew for their amazing support.

Gordy was a top bloke. I think us carers had it pretty good at Gordys, Mr Independent! Great determination not to let anything beat him. I'd often like to have stayed and watched the discovery channel with him. Helping Gordy was like Helping a friend. Will miss the weekend visits with Gordy. It was a great farewell the family gave Him.
