Peacefully, surrounded by his loving whānau at Rose Lodge on 18th May 2025.

Beloved son of the late Harry and Ethel Payne, loved brother of the late Peggy, Audrey and Keith, Luton, England.

Dearly beloved husband of the late Maureen (nee Spencer).

Cherished Dad of Jan, Trish, Duncan, Mem and Bec. A loved and respected father-in-law of Tuna, Kevin, Lenny and James.

Loved and respected brother-in-law and uncle.

Much loved special uncle of Lee.

The best and loving Poua, Pou Pou, Poua Poua and GG Pou of his 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Brian's family would like to acknowledge the residents and staff of Rose Lodge for the care, respect and love that was shown to our Dad over the past year.

Brian will be at Trish’s home, 166 Marine Parade, Bluff until his service at Invercargill Crematorium on Friday, 23rd May 2025 at 1.30pm.
