Michael, Sue and Hamish. I'm not sure if you guys remember me but my brother Richard and I used to live up the road from you guys in George Street and would come down and play with Andrew often. I was very sad to hear of his passing. I haven't seen him in quite a number of years but whenever think of my teenage years, days creating mischief with him always come to the top of my mind. It was a great service for him today, I watched it online and was really taken aback by his artwork. I had seen bits and pieces but didn’t realise how much work and talent he had with it. He’ll be sorely missed.

Your smile was infectious! Such a kind soul, gone too soon. The memories made will never be forgotten. Rest easy my friend and paint in the skies doing what you love!
I will never forget you!

Dear Michael and Sue,
We are so sorry and sad to hear about Andrew. No parent should lose a child no matter their age. We have memories of Andrew as a baby (sitting on Roger's knee) before we left to live in ChCh.
You are much in our thoughts and we are sending all our sympathy at this hard time. Take care.
