Garth peacefully passed away at home aged 84, on Thursday 10th of August 2023.
Beloved husband of the late Glenda, dearly loved partner of Annette. Much loved father and father-in-law of Darren & Lynette, Craig & Trudy, Lisa & Shayne,Juliet & Graeme.
Cherished grandfather of Stephanie & Eric, Jonathon, Claire & Daniel, Sarah, Rachel, Lachy, Lucy, Emily, and Charlotte and great-grandad of wee Miller.
Loved brother and brother-in-law of Barbara & Ivan*, Judy & Barry, and Robin*.
A good friend to many. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Southland Hospice.

Dearest Garth so sad to hear that you have left this planet and moved onto greener pastures.
I will so miss seeing your cheeky face zooming in on your trusty scooter to the plaza and hearing your never ending stories some of which i was never quite sure if it was quite the whole truth or not lol as you had many a story to tell and what an amazing life you had... think you should have written a book it would have been a best seller I'm sure.
