Cherished husband of Pam.
Adored dad of Carrie Ann & Mike, Becky, Angela, & the late Suzee & Glen.
When I die, may I go where the racehorses go.
I don't want any harping, singing or speeches, such things don't agree with my style.
Where there's sound of the horses hooves ringing, are the sounds sufficient for me.
As per Gary's wishes there will be no service.

To Pam and Family.
So sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Over 20 years ago now, I still fondly remember our yarns as we jogged along in the group on the Invercargill Harrier club runs. He was a true gentleman who so obviously loved his
family dearly. He will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Our sincere condolences to you Pam, and the family .

To Pam & family, our condolences to you all on Gary's passing. Although we had lost touch over the years we still have fond memories of the time when Gary was a runner, and the harrier events that you hosted at the Wyndham racecourse area.

So sorry to hear this sad news. The years I spent working with Garry when he had his stables at Winton and then for a short time while he was at Makarewa were a special time for me. We got on very well and became good friends and although our lives took different paths and I lost contact I was still interested from afar in what he was doing with his horses. We had lots of conversations around rugby and I know he, like his Dad before him, enjoyed the game very much.
The years may have past but my memories don’t fade.
Thank you Garry for guiding me and showing me the enjoyment that Harness racing brings.
Condolences to Pam and family
